A Successful Founders' Day Weekend

The football team defeated Elkhart Christian 40-22.

Cadet Boeckmann and Cadet Slamkowski were named
Spirit Week King and Queen.

Cadets enjoyed dancing to the DJ at the Founders' Day Ball.

Cadet Gore was awarded the Domenic Vito Criscio Memorial Scholarship.

Domenic Vito Criscio attended Howe Military School from 2001
until 2004.  Vito was proud of Howe and for his dedication and
leadership was appointed to be the battalion executive officer his
senior year.  Sadly, however, he lost his life the summer before in
an automobile accident.  To honor future executive officers for their
accomplishments and determination, the Domenic Vito Criscio
Memorial Scholarship was established.

Cadet Barton was presented with a "Tradition" certificate.

The Howe Alumni Association began awarding a "Traditions
Patch" in 1995.  This patch is worn on the garrison uniform of
cadets who have had a relative graduate from Howe.  The
tradition of a family educating their children at Howe deserves
recognition.  Brandon Barton, class of 2017, was presented a
"Tradition" certificate at Sunday's chapel services.  His father,
Capt. Shannon Barton is a 1993 graduate and his grandfather
Laurent Jennings, graduated from Howe in 1966.

Great weather on Sunday allowed for a spectacular parade by the
Corps of Cadets to bring the weekend festivities to a close.
